Appearance: Thick skeletons. They have a long, level back and powerful hindquarters. Their ears can vary from small, well-proportioned to very long. They have relatively thick manes and tails, with a slightly ram-head, usually with a slightly rising curve from the eyes to the top of the muzzle.

Colors:Kladruber came in a variety of colors including palomino and appaloosa, current day breeding strictly limits the "permitted" colors to black or gray.

Facts:The Kladruby stud was located at the Perlstein stables where horses had been bred by Maxmilian II for the previous 20 years.
Due to its breeding, the Kladruby is considered somewhat unique in the equine world. The breed has a four hundred year old selection history and is considered the only indigenous breed of the region. It is one of the rarer breeds in the world with only 90 remaining females in 1995.
They are hard working, loyal and will do whatever is asked of them, always displaying great stamina and endurance. They have a calm disposition and are gentle natured.
Super Fact:The Kladruber is the oldest Czech horse breed and one of the world's oldest horse breeds. It is considered very rare.
