Although this is an excellent pony both in conformation and temperament, it is relatively unknown outside of its own country.
Today, the Australian Pony is mainly used as a children’s mount and for smaller adult riders.
The stallions and colts of this breed are displayed unplaited while the mares and geldings are plaited.
