The Abaco Barb was said to be descended from horses that were shipwrecked on the island during the Spanish colonization of the Americas and the Caribbean.
The last horse, mare Nunki, died on July 23, 2015.
This breed is now extinct but they be maybe coming back as clones.

The Barbs on Abaco Island are on the critically endangered list & they are the most endangered equine on the planet, (extinct now).
